SPANISH

Our Foreign Languages curriculum is underpinned by planning and resources from Language Angels. By learning a foreign language our pupils recognise that people of different nationalities and cultures communicate in languages other than English, both across the globe and within their own community. They develop a passion for communication, linked to their oracy in English, and build on their natural desire to communicate clearly with everyone. Through learning spoken and written Spanish, our pupils learn how to develop an understanding of a new langauage, and how they might apply this to learning in any foreign language.
